From Windows to iPhone: What to Expect From This Newsletter Going Forward
My newsletters will now focus on the iPhone. Here's a clear breakdown of what’s free and what’s included for paid supporters.
Hi everyone,
I want to be upfront with you. I’m currently facing some health and family challenges, and that means I have to scale back the amount of work I take on. Otherwise, I’d have to stop altogether. This new path is my compromise.
For years, following my experience working remotely and on-site for small businesses and residential customers, I have shared a mix of tips, picks, and how-to posts, mostly focused on Windows. Those posts were useful, but they also required a lot of time and energy, especially the videos, which made it challenging to maintain a regular pace.
Now I’ve found something more sustainable: I’ve been creating one-minute iPhone tips for YouTube Shorts, and I’m turning those into quick, readable blog posts. Those are already gaining traction faster. That shift makes it possible for me to send you a weekly newsletter that’s simple, consistent, and (I hope) useful for you.
Here’s how this website and my newsletters will work going forward:
Free Tier
One weekly email newsletter with links to my latest iPhone blog posts and YouTube Shorts
All of my iPhone-related blog posts are exclusively on the website
These blog posts will be available for free
Paid Tier - $5 per month OR $30 per year (50% off!)
Everything in the free plan
One monthly paid newsletter
Exclusive unlisted YouTube Shorts and related blog posts just for paid subscribers, including answering your questions
A monthly paid subscriber Q&A roundup (not video)
“In Case You Missed It” picks from the archives
Want to see something else? Let me know! (If I can reasonably do it, I will.)
Founding Supporter ($100/year)
Everything above.
No extra perks — just my sincere thanks for going above and beyond.
This setup keeps all my core content free and accessible, while giving paid subscribers a few tangible extras if they’d like to support what I’m doing. It’s my way of continuing without taking on more than I can manage. Thanks for sticking with me as I shift gears.
I apologize for the rollercoaster the past few weeks, as I have figured some things out.
Up to this point, you have all subscribed to my Substack for my Windows content, so I completely understand if you feel the need to unsubscribe, since I won’t be focusing on Windows anymore.
That said, I hope you’ll continue to support my work and appreciate my iPhone blog posts and videos from now on.
