Here's an Update on What Free and Paid Subscribers Can Expect Going Forward, Including Early Access to Most Blog Posts for Paid Subs
What paid and free subscribers can expect going forward. Many news posts will focus on the day-to-day computer repair work I’m doing and practical advice drawn from it.
From now on, most new blog posts will be released to paid subscribers first, with a few exceptions that will be made public immediately. After a few days, early access posts will automatically unlock and become available to free subscribers.
Here’s the breakdown:
Paid subscribers get early access to almost all new blog posts, including Quick Tips, Kevin’s Picks, and regular updates.
Free subscribers will see those posts a few days later, once they unlock.
Time-sensitive posts, like Patch Tuesday updates or urgent tech news, will be published to everyone right away.
Bonus or behind-the-scenes content will remain exclusive to paid subscribers and will not be made public later.
But there’s more to it than early access. Paid content is evolving.
Here’s what paid subscribers will now receive:
Early access to most blog posts.
Real-world repair stories and solutions:
I’ll be sharing short, focused posts about the actual computer issues I’m dealing with, and how I’ve solved them. I am no longer publishing longer blog posts or How Tos. My focus is now on quick, useful insights.Monthly Q&A post:
Once a month, I’ll answer questions from subscribers, whether they’re tech-related or about how I run things behind the scenes.Monthly video:
A short video each month offering quick advice and some computer repair solutions from recent weeks.Occasional bonus content:
These may include behind-the-scenes updates, reflections on the work I’m doing, or subscriber-only posts I don’t publish publicly.
Thank you again for reading, subscribing, and sticking around. I want to keep this blog open and helpful to as many people as possible, while still offering something meaningful to those who support it financially.
💬 Feel free to share your thoughts below, or on any of my free blog posts as I work to enable that. I do my best to read as many as I can, even if I don’t always reply. I pay more attention to comments from PAID subscribers.
