The Latest From Kevin The Tech Guy for August 29th 2025
This week I’m shifting my home biz to focus on practical iPhone tips you can actually use, while keeping my newsletter simple, reliable, and easy to follow. Paid subscribers also get exclusive extras.
Over the past week, I’ve made some important changes to both my home business and my Substack site, and I want to bring you up to speed. I’ve shifted my focus away from covering Windows and toward creating practical, everyday iPhone content.
This change reflects current personal health and family challenges, forcing me to reduce and narrow the focus of my workload. You can expect regular, easy-to-follow tips that make using your iPhone simpler and less stressful.
Here’s how I’m structuring things going forward:
Free subscribers will continue to get my weekly newsletter in their inbox. Yes, it’s weekly again. Narrowing my focus and since creating YouTube Shorts is less work, and that opens up my time and energy to do this again. Each newsletter highlights recent blog posts, including YouTube Shorts, with tips and apps for your iPhone.
Paid subscribers will also receive a monthly newsletter with all the exclusive extras in one place. That includes behind-the-scenes updates, roundups of content from the past month, priority replies to your questions and comments, and members-only Shorts with tips I don’t share anywhere else.
To be clear: I will not be sending out individual blog posts or teases as separate emails anymore. Instead, you’ll see teasers and highlights in my weekly and monthly newsletters. If you want to read the full posts, you can always enjoy them anytime directly on the website.
This is my way of keeping things focused and sustainable while giving you reliable, useful content every week, along with exclusive content for those who choose to support my work as paid subscribers.
